Day of Pampering
Then later that day I went and got my hair cut - almost 4 inches taken off.
I think I could get used to this routine... not working, getting pampered all day... but then again, no income doesn't normally equal lavish lifestyle.

Disgusting
It's a billboard in Chicago sponsored by a law firm specializing in you guessed it, divorce. It's saying that if you're not happy in your current marriage, or if your spouse doesn't look like this, then get out - get a divorce and go after that babe or hunk that you've always wanted. What happened to commitment??
Here's the full news story:
CHICAGO — A racy divorce lawyers’ ad in Chicago’s glitzy Gold Coast neighborhood had some area residents raising their eyebrows. The ad is sponsored by Fetman, Garland & Associates, Ltd., a law firm specializing in divorce. The billboard is complete with two scantily clad bodies — one male and one female — telling people that “Life’s short, get a Divorce.” It’s located near the intersection of State and Bellevue streets. “It’s offensive because the message is sex, and if you don’t have what you want, you dump it,” said another woman. Click here to watch the WFLD report But the law firm calls the ad “cutting edge” and is making no apologies for it. Lawyers there say the ad isn’t for everyone, but instead targets couples looking for a way out of a bad marital situation. “If you’re unhappy, that life is too short to continue in an unhappy marriage, those images provide hope,” said divorce attorney Corri Fetman. The law firm is promising more similar ads, including another in the same Gold Coast neighborhood, known for its deep-pocketed residents, nightlife and glitzy cars.

The Beginning of Last Things
First, Bobby's last birthday here in St Louis. Happy 30th!!!
And second, we paid our last rent check!
Another exciting "last thing" will come next week - May 9th will be my last day at work! (good thing we won't have to pay anymore rent checks...)
This is so cool!
From American Idol last week (yes, it's taken me this long to figure this out). Amazing, isn't it??
