To WVU we went this past weekend…

… and to WVU we will go! (That’s West Virginia University in case you didn't know)

Congratulations to Bobby who has not only been accepted into the Masters degree program in the History department there, but has also been granted a Graduate Assistantship (GA) in the Student Services department and will be an academic advisor. The last few months have been grueling as we have been waiting to hear back from schools and weighing all of our options, then hoping and praying for a GA. All of our prayers have been answered, and even an unexpected one… free housing! My very generous aunt & uncle have offered for us to live in a historic, log cabin on their property in southwest Pennsylvania, just 20 minutes from the WVU campus. Here is a picture of it: (the two buildings are attached, and we will be living in both of them)

We're really excited about beginning this new chapter in our lives, but sad about closing the one here in St. Louis. But we're not saying goodbye yet, we still have a few more things to cross off of our must-see-and-do-before-leaving-St Louis list.

Sure is a lot nicer place than the apartments I've stayed in during college! Congrats on the acceptance and knowing where you're going to be. From what I understand, Pacman Jones with the Titans might be going back there to finish his degree while he's suspended from the NFL. You might see him wandering around campus... :)
